Giving Back

"The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.”

~ Thich Nhat Hanh

21st Century Leaders are
always giving.

It is an act of courage and generosity in this world to awaken, to take on the responsibility of leadership in our lives, personally and professionally, and to do so from a related, solid, centered and wholehearted place within. It is the true mark of a leader to be in service.

The whole thrust of my life has been to seed awareness, consciousness, growth and deeper healing.

Giving myself permission, place and space to do my own work has enabled me to move closer to wholeness, show up more fully as I am and be more generous in all parts of my life. As a result, I am able to lead with compassion, humility and love, rather than come from fear, doubt and concern, gifts that keep on giving. This work has saved my life, enhanced my marriage and enabled me to create relationships with my children, extended family, friends and clients I never imagined would be possible. I pinch myself every day.

The only proper response to that is, “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

To pay it forward I do everything in my power to help people to awaken, feel empowered and be who they are.

YOU BE YOU.

Perhaps the greatest gifts you could give to the world are a decision to BE YOU along with a decision to offer your precious time, energy and resources to the causes you believe in and the organizations you love that encourage consciousness, growth and deeper healing while serving as a strong, solid and loving container for those in greater need.

"Giving and Receiving are at the heart of service, a dynamic that fuels us and enables each of us to keep on giving even when life is hard. It is how we always have “some energy left in the tank.”"

Dori Klass, MBA

21st Century Leaders honor the dance of giving and receiving and appreciate the importance of both.

When we can receive with grace and humility, our capacity to give generously of ourselves, our wisdom, our precious time and resources grows by the day.

Whether we give to one or many, locally or globally, it matters. Whether we pull our neighbor’s garbage cans in while they are sick or have the wing of a hospital named after us, how we show up every day, in service, matters.

The Starfish Story

A man went for a walk along the beach one morning after a storm. As far as the eye could see, the sand was littered with starfish that had washed up on the shore and were dying in the sun. In the distance, the man saw a young boy walking down the beach, picking up starfish after starfish, tossing them back into the surf one at a time. When he was close enough to be heard above the waves, the man asked, “Child, why are you doing this? There must be thousands of starfish out here…what possible difference can you make?” The boy reached down, picked up a starfish and threw it as far as he could back into the sea. “Sure made a lot of difference to that one.”
And he reached down to pick up another.

We support and give regularly to
organizations who serve holistically
to empower and improve the lives of others!

Why Do We Give To These Organizations?
Each is focused on reimagining one’s possibilities and empowering the individuals they serve, holistically, so that these individuals can heal, become strong and feel empowered from within. These gifts keep on giving as those they serve live more whole and complete lives and begin to share their gifts, health, wealth and stories with others.
